Lost mine 15 years ago and still think of him every day. As time goes on the sadness is still there but the joy of remembering all of the good times blocks most of it out.

The guilt of actually hoping he passed at the end because of the suffering is replaced by guilt after he passed for thinking those thoughts. But rest assured he is in a better place.

I have never met you Phil but you have joined a club which no one wants to be a part of but for everyone in it we share a
special bond.

Peace be with you and I hope to meet you some day and we can revel in stories of our times with our fathers
