If you want to see a difference, look in places you would ordinarily not look, like behind the headliner, under the carpet and up under gunwale caps. I currently own both so I know.

I agree that the Cig has a better fit and finish but you pay for it. I have owned both and I think they both are good boats. I do like Cigarettes better but a Fountain is a good boat for the money, in my opinion.

can someone explain why a Cig has a big freeboard, deep hull but weighs less than a Fountain with shallow freeboard?

I will admit though for functional (hull) design, One stands alone.
