I was actually just thinking about that,time to do some real accurate measuring...
It will all work out in the end though,if they don't measure I have someone ready to take the stuff off my hands at a great price,and I'm actually condidering it anyways because of the offer.I got they stuff at a steal of a price,someone owed money who owed me yada yada yada....So if I do sell,here's what I'll do,I'm picking up a 4 channel amp,I think it's 85X4 rms at 4 ohms for cheap.So i'm going to put that to my 2 6.5's and my 2 6x9's,so that should sound good.Then i'm still doing the truck boxes with 10's,I have a set of MTX 10's 300w RMS,and still do the audiobahn amp.I think either way I go is a great START 
.Hopefully one day I plan to put another set of 6X9's,so i'd have 4 6x9's under my rear seat and then in the middle of the 4 6x9's put a JL W7 
.I'm going to need more batteries...............

Yeah looks like the JL's are out,there 6.9in deep.The side compartment is only 7.5in deep and with the style box I have to use they don't fit.... . Well I guess i'll do the mtx setup for now....

JL is coming out with a new 10" marine sub that is modeled after their free air sub, but requires a box that is really small.
Can you add a ring on the outside to set the sub out further giving you room on the back side?

The amps built into the head unit suck big time! An outboard amp, make sure it's a Class A/B, will sound a million times better. Do not use a Class D amp for your mains...they're better as sub amps. Class D can't accurately reproduce high frequencies and will introduce a lot of distortion into the signal. That's why headunits sound very harsh on the high frequencies when turned up. The amp is worth it!

i have 4 12' kicker marine subs and 8 6.5' kicker marine speakers with tweeters all that is powered my 3 of the 2500 watt kicker digital amps and they fit perectly and sound amazing the bass shakes the water next to the boat, but you need to make sure that the subs are marine grade cause if ur not ur constently worrying about getting them wet when you are washing the boat down or taking a wave over the bow the other thing about the kicker subs and speakers that no other brand does is good styling, the white plastic covers that the other brands use tend to yellow and dont look as cool
