Ok I have a Marine loan through Key Bank USA/ Essex credit. It's for $30,000.00 for 180 mos. at friggin> 9.28% = 310.37 a month. I want to refinance, any ideas? phone numbers? There has to be a lower rate out there for me I was told.

Might try Good Sam Finance, they sent me a mail solicition on my last boat. Their web site leans more toward RV's but they do boats. They sell to Deutsche Financial. They beat my old rate from Key by 1+ percent and rates hadn't changed all that much at the time.

Call Key and see what they will do.

I called our lender today, said hey, can I get a courtesy rate reduction, we are at 7.65, I am an active duty officer.

They said certainly, you are now at 6%....
It will take effect within two weeks...
