We here at Offshore Performance are sad to announce that our Sales Manager and good friend John Wilmoth has passed. After a lengthy battle with Cancer he couldnt do anymore. John passed away Sunday morning around 11:45 am. Any and all arrangements will be given to the board as soon as they become available.

God speed friend!

Chesapeake Bay Power Boat Association has been nice enough to also have a memorium page.

Information borrowed from CBPBA website.
Visitation will be on Wednesday April 18 and Thursday April 19 from 3pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm.

A Catholic Wake will be held on Wednesday at 3:30

An informal service will be held on Thursday at 7:30 and friends are welcome to share their comments about John at this time.

The Funeral will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel at 9am on Friday April 20, attendees should plan on meeting at the funeral home at 8am.

A Celebration of Life will be held immediately afterwards, time and place to be announced later.

The Funeral home is Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Ave. Baltimore, Md. 21221

Mapquest directions to the Funeral Home are here.

The Church is Our Lady of Mt. Carmel 1704 Old Eastern Ave, Baltimore, Md. 21221

Brenda would like to thank everyone in the club that have been so supportive in these past few months, the cards, the calls, and the prayers were very much appreciated by John.

NOTE: Thanks again to Kevin. I updated the original post to include details for the Celebration of Life, immediately following the funeral.

A Celebration of Life will be held immediately after the funeral on Friday at:

John was a great guy, and taught me a lot. He was around this sport for a LONG, LONG time.

RIP John.

What a shame. John was a great guy. I hadn't spoken to him in a long time and he called me Friday. We spoke for almost an hour and we planned on having lunch next week at the Bay Bridge Show.

John was a part of CPBRA for a long time and was an old time racer as well.

He could be a crass S.O.B - some loved him and some couldn't stand him. I really enjoyed him and we busted each others balls constantly. We also both couldn't stand K.B.

One of my best memories was getting blasted at Ruth Chris in Baltimore and him thinking he was going to drive. We then held him up as we walked him over to the truck and put him in the passenger seat!

He was a gentleman and he will be missed. God speed buddy - I will miss ya!
