You can do 1200-1300 a day depending on the rattler you have.

Sounds like a once in a lifetime trip. I'd love to see the west from the ground. Take it slow and enjoy the sights.
Personally I like driving at night, at least where it's congested. I bet it will be a nice ride once you get past PA into Ohio.

What toy are ya bringing back?

I drive 1000 miles per day or if I am on a deadline I drive 1400 miles in 24 hours stopping only for fuel. I am the boating version of the US Mail. rain or snow or broken axels

If you can, get someone to make the trip with you. I made the run from Chesterfield,Va. to Sydney, Il. when I bought my boat. That was over 800 miles each way. I had my brother-in-law with me. Having the second driver was nice, but having someone else in the vehicle to talk to and keep you alert was the biggest help, IMOP.
Have a safe trip..........

700 miles or 12 hours (7am-7pm) then stop, eat sleep. Enjoy your trip.

When I was hauling boats for a living 5+ years ago, a good day would be at least 1,000 miles and a great day would be 1350 miles in a 24 hr timeframe.
