There are so many place to stay. What part of the lake do you want to be on? Off of HH or KK? Osage Beach, Lake Ozark, North Shore..............
I can't believe they would limit dock size to 30'. Most new condos slips start at 36'. I used to know most of the complexes, but there are so many going up each year.

Tan Tara's a good place, if your getting a condo your boat will be right next to the place. We haven't stayed there since we have a house, but have had quite a few friends go there and have always been a positive experience.

Pretty close to most of the bars and restaurants on the lake too... Have fun...

Oh and to the guy mentioning Table Rock, it's a great lake if your looking for a real quiet place to boat and has limited on the water ammenities except for marina's... But like any other Lake you can have fun just about anywhere, just depends on what your looking for...

I like the Tan Tara, it's reasonable and well equipped. Nice docks, plenty to do and relatively close to the fun.

I rent out one of my units at Heron bay. They are only 1bd and 1bth but very affordable. I have access to a 28' slip there as well and you can hang out up to 4 feet.

No, havent heard that. I doubt its true. Only 11% of the shore line on table rock is zoned for docks, so they already have quite a hold on things. I could be wrong though
