Marine Battery question ?

looking at 27 series marine batteries. found 1 at auto zone that said " dual purpose" with 1000 ca's all the other brands I looked at sears die hard etc . had about 750-850 ca's which is a better way to go ?

I would look at something like an Exide Orbital. It's more money, but electrolyte acid is contained in a glass mat, making the battery spill proof. After having a battery post vibrate and crack off the Delco battery in my car, and leak acid all over, I'm not using any more batteries that won't contain the electrolyte.

BTW, the Sears Die Hard and the Auto Zone Duralast batteries are both made by Johnson Control.
