I have a 625 in my 25 daytona (173 hours). Best motor I have ever had. I will never go back to a custom blower motor. This thing is turn key.....or atleast it has been.

How hard would it be to have someone service my ilmor if I bought one?

Granted I live in Mich but are there any other service locations other than the factory in plymouth?

The manual is very good. Its easy to just do it yourself, plus you won't have to mess with a shop.

Work on the motor or the setup? My boat was a re-rig from a 496ho. Pretty simple.

Wiring harness drom 496 to Ilmor....what needs to be changed?

How much longer is this engine compared to a 496 HO?

Longer, had to notch the back seat. Its also a little difficult to get the oil filter out.

Mine is plugged in with the pin harness. Added a couple mechanical guages also.
