If the price is stated as 259,995 and says it's a HUGE reduction, what makes you think that they will knock another 100K off? The name can be changed to "Bravo Eater"  :drink: :evilb:

Tom A. 05-08-2007 12:41 PM

I thought there was some scratches too if I remember right. Maybe they are fixed now.

pm203 05-08-2007 05:23 PM

I am not crazy about the single step .

cowisl 05-08-2007 05:25 PM

A single step is much more stable with bravo's then the quad step

hell no... over 100 im sure shed be loose staggered too...

how many made? is this the only GTX? seen lots of 37 stilettos all 2003 or older

OL40SVX 05-08-2007 05:49 PM

We ran next to the boat at 1000 Islands lat year for a little while. It ran strong and looked very stable at 90+. To my knowlege there have been 4 37 GTX's all single steps. This boat was just at the Sarasota Poker run a couple weeks ago. Wasn't it last owned by Breen from upstate NY?? It's just hard to believe that it has already been repoed. I bet you cant buy the boat for under 180k if that low.

cosmic12 05-08-2007 06:08 PM

Yes it was Breens sorta:(

Chuck 05-08-2007 06:14 PM

Where does the ad say it was repo'ed????

It doesn't and it's not on National liquidators website. I know Breen was trying to sell it by he goes through boats like every year. Thats too bad if it really got repoed.

I was wondering the same thing.

Ha, that is how I would run it! I would use it up if it was going to get hooked in the end anyway......

Brosef... it is a well known fact that the 37 quad step is much more to handle than the 37 single step..

I think there are only a few 37 gtx's. One had 525's with whipples that was a boat show boat and the other was named blood vessel...think thats it including this one.

thats the for sale ad

its been repoed now... it went for 154k 2yrs ago... with motor problems

they been gone thru... though one block is a dart and one is a merlin...

mrhorsepower1 05-09-2007 06:36 AM

Your dreamin' bro. Bank loan is high. They need $200,000.00. The boat will never sell as cheap as it did the 1st time. They are wise to what happened.

Gary864 05-09-2007 07:27 AM

From my knowledge they will take less than what is owed then the go after the person how got it repoed from for the remaining balance. The longer the bank has it the cheaper it will go for. I have heard of the bank taking 1/2 the balnace just to get something while going after the other party until they get their money.

runafever 05-09-2007 09:35 AM

A friend of mine in sandusky owned that boat. We ran it a couple of times over to the Casino and back. Not a very impressive ride but it was fast to say the least. That boat is a Bravo eater. He snapped on the Key west Poker run some years back and traded it to Bill on a 42 Legacy ( Hionass that is)

Hey guys.....Breen here..... before all of the rumors and guessing start, here's the deal:

Yup it was a sad day for the owner. I was just the driver, but I loved that boat. Awesome ride.

He is having some $$$ probs right now, and he was buried pretty deep in it, so he had to let it go. If you are interested in buying the boat, Call me if you want the real story on what it needs right now.

Best we ever saw was 106 on the GPS...having some problems right now though. Needs attention.

Dreamer, your name is right on, dude. You have a few parts right, but mostly wrong. Both blocks are brand new Dart Big M for starters. Don't talk about things you have no idea about.
That's the problem with these forums.

Wanna know....just ask.

mrhorsepower1 05-12-2007 06:14 AM

[ For your information.....your wrong about the engine blocks. one is a World Products Merlin 3 and the other is a Dart Big M. Believe me I know.......it's my profession. I have been all over that boat and looking to purchase it, or at least bid on it.

Best Regards,

Dean Gellner

was in the bildge a few days ago... i may dream but i can read...i saw the blocks... also they said it was different block from the last time they repoed it... also gellner engineering who saw the boat can back me up the blocks r not the same... also i know the people at yachtactions... ive bought a boat from them and they are brokering a boat for me now... also i saw it there two years ago when it went for 154k... and i know the surveyor that did the survey....

yup i must know nothing....

breenm 05-12-2007 11:45 AM

Settle down fella......

You are right about the blocks, I apologize. I forgot, He did the motors at 2 different times.

Still, he spent $40k in upgrades and repairs.

The boat wasn't bad on drives, but you need to drive it well. It is EXTREMELY stable at 100mph. Drove it in 10 Poker Runs, and never once got out of shape, or chine walked.

If I were to buy that boat, I would put 525 stock motors in it, and have a great time. No worries.

Have fun
B.
