Don't know the DB without but the 700's are LOUD....real LOUD so to get 90DB or less is very good. I will see if I can get actual #'s from Merc.

Whats the beef with Zoomers, other than the fact they corrode pretty quickly in salt even with thorough rinsing?

Custom down tubes are the answer. They are a relatively inexpensive solution. They got Brad's 1200 HP per side MTI to pass!!

Give us a call and we'll get you pricing. We need diameter, horizontal and vertical dimensions.

They take some of the "crackle" out yes and leave a nice sound but are nowhere near quiet enough to make a 525 pass on our boat.
Also, not even half a season on fresh water and they are rusting and corroding.

Just wondering if you received the mufflers from Fred yet and if so how did they work for you?I will be up at the lake this weekend 5/19 and would like to meet up with you and hang out.Let me know if you will be available,I will be the fountain from NJ tied up to the lake patrol with the flashing lights just incase you cant find me
