two pumps, two limiters, one switch, its the switch if it effects both drives the same.

I'm heading down to the bay in the morning. will check the switch as it seems the most likely issue. I was really wonderring if there was any type of limit switch.

Good luck on the marital problems, mine required an entire replacement. The OEM no longer fit, and I had to find a retro-fit. I've been happy ever since.

Not sure if they all work that way but a lot of go-fast boats are rigged that way. Our 30' Sundancer is not rigged that way, but my 26' Scarab is. Glad it worked for you.
