You just wash it normally and dry with towel/chaoime...No wax, it does nothing for the material.

What happens when someday you want to remove it....How does it come off and what damage is left behind? i saw a company that did this 2 winters ago at the chicago boat show, and they quoted me something like $14,000 to do a 31 ft boat....

this was my thought exactly, what happens when it does start to peal and needs to be removed?
What residue is left behind, and what does it do to the underlying gellcoat?
Once Wrapped 'ALWAYS' wrapped? or can you go back to what it was originally?

We've been using our polish on wraps and it has helped. It provides more UV protection, the colors are a lot deeper and it protects against any staining. Give it a try when you get a chance. Mine is slick as glass and looks better than when it was new.

A) 14k for a wrap....They're smokin crack!
B) No issues with removing it. Just like taking a sticker off. It can leave a sticky film behind that will come off with wax or other non-abrassive chemicals.

My boat was vinyl'd right after purchased from the factory by the original owner. So the vinyl was about 9 years old when I had it removed. The place that did my wrap didn't have a problem removing. I think they also use a heat gun to make it easier.
