Mark your right, Nick did own Savage for a while. I was fortunate enough to meet him down in Key West at the Worlds last year. It was great to talk to him and learn some of the history on the old girl. He has a beautiful '38 Top Gun now, which he sold me the MM thottles from for Savage.

It would be better to see at least the two of you running side by side to the bar...(or wherever you're going). Anyway, congrats on the years of hard work Jim. I'm sure you will have a good time with it.

10x, power is mild by todays standards. A pair of 600ci 850's from CMC in St Charles. I'll post some more shots soon, probably on a new thread. Yeah it kind of transitioned into old rides of Lake Michigan thread.

Quote: I remember many of those names myself!!! A few others were "Wet N Wild" (42' Fountain), "TOP BANANA" (31' Excaliber), "Conquest" (38' Wellcraft flat deck), "RAMBO" (32' Baja), "The Dealer" (31' Excaliber), "Malandrino" (9M Carrera), "Offshore Horror" (30' Scarab), "POLTERGIEST" 38' Wellcraft w/tripple engines, "ME BAD" (42' Excaliber),...

Memories, memories, memories. Don't forget the Fountain Wet and Wild. There was also a offshore named Wild Child, can't remember what kind of boat, I think Fountain.

alot of history about the boats your talking about is in Roy Hallmans head. (he is a member of the chicago club) He raced one of the first egg beater skaters in 87. He owned rainbow chaser, ghetto way and a host of other boats. He now has a 42 fountain with triples. He does'nt own a computer but he can give you alot of history and funny stories of his escapades with freidman,Berman,Bishop, arkelean and alike.

Brian, back in the 80's I went to many tuesday night steak fry's at Jackson park harbor with him, Magnum Mark, Friedman, and all the hot rod guys. He always seemed to have a copy of one of the races that he was in that we played on the big screen tv while we ate.
