My Boats: new to me 388 slingshot 2000 velocity 390 sold 2005 390 velocity sold 2001 390 velocity sold 260 velocity sold 320 velocity sold 30ft velocity sold vr1 velocity sold 35 Cigarette sold. 34 phantom cur.

Its a wast to run 93, in those motors. You will also get more soot on you transom with 93, than you will with 87. Just more to clean off.

Runs much better on 87 octane unless you bunp the timing up past 36 degrees.

Yup as stated, 87 or 89. No need to run 93.
