DPX-A. Same internals, just different cases/castings. The A uses a one-piece upper/intermediate, while the R has separate upper and intermediate castings. Lower units are essentially the same.

Don't listen to him Chuck, he's completely full of it and broke from working on his supercat POS :) I'm a much more credible owner for your spare drives.:evilb:

Thanks for all the help guys, and the parts schematic was awesome! The pin that holds the Eccentric Piston in place was sheared off. It was replaced, but the drive still will not shift into gear, although the shifter feels much better and goes to each detent.
I didn't perform the re-instalation of the set-up,...so were gonna take it back apart and re evaluate everything...maybe the cable is streched a bit now,....and needs replaced? I'm also very, very curious as to what would shear the pin,....something? Anyone else sheared this pin....and? We'll see.. |
