Mike decided on a combination of Platinum "carbon" vinyl with White for his upholstery with Pantera embroidery. It turned out awesome. Charcoal color Pirelli rubber flooring.

Thanks Guys !! Also My Father and our employees put in alot of hard work and dedication into each Pantera built. This past Saturday ( Memorial weekend ) we stayed open until 3:00 PM just to get Mike's new 28' completed and I stayed until 7:30 PM to make sure the boat was perfect before he got on the road. Just wanted to put a big smile on his face since he is a great customer !!

750hp and an XR  why not a konrad, IMCO, or teague?

JO - PANTERABOATS 05-28-2007 08:39 PM

Cobra motor was purchased as a complete package with XR drive and transomplate. We delivered 2 years ago another 28' powered with the same Cobra motor package with no issues on the drive and motor so far after 2 years of hard running.

Konrad, Imco, and Teague are also great drives.

Oh well....some people can pull it off. Great looking boat. I cant imagine a better combo or size, motor, and performance.

TexomaPowerboater 05-28-2007 09:50 PM

Nice boat Jo

littledcsrodshop 05-28-2007 10:29 PM

As I have already said the boat looks Great !!! I agree that is a great combo for that boat a single 750 HP N/A is quite sweet in that boat & will perform like a champ !
I have had a few Panteras & I have to say that they build one heck of a boat. There are Very few boat builders that put out a product with the build quality of a Pantera. In any size boat & in any price range for that matter. Anybody looking for a true hardcore offshore boat definaltly needs to take a look & a ride in one. I have owned 3 of them & I must say not 1 of them has been a new boat & if I ever need anything , or have any questions about anything , all I have to do is give Pepe or Jo either one a call or an email & they always give me their time. That is what I love about them , It is nice to be able to have access to their experiance & to be able to call them friends at the same time.

Do you know the weight difference between that one and the one I've got? If that one it gonna be that smokin' fast with 750HP there must be some difference - right?

Altough, I have know idea what HP we had this previous summer, we'll see in a few weeks.

We will find those MPH!!! :D

The platinum Pantera looks soooo great!!! Congrats!

Cattitude 05-29-2007 07:57 AM

I like the CF vinyl, used some when I tweaked the interior on my Daytona this winter. That dark floor is going to be a foot warmer on the cold days, going to need some carpet for the hot days:)

JO - PANTERABOATS 05-29-2007 10:27 AM

Tomas,

Your 28' race is close to 800-900 pounds lighter than this full pleasure model.

Regards,

JO

LEOPAJM 05-29-2007 10:46 AM

That would be a great boat with 2 300 Verados or 300 optis !

What would it take to switch it to Outboards ?

littledcsrodshop 05-29-2007 11:14 AM

Hey Jerry , Check your PM

JUPITER PULSARE 05-29-2007 11:54 AM

Pantera...like a fine bottle of wine...keeps getting better with age!! Jo and Pepe, congrats on a great boat delivered!!

NASCAT 05-29-2007 01:34 PM

Congrats Mike!

Nice job Jo & Pepe! I like the polished bolster legs over the powder coated as well as the carbon fiber multicolored upholstery.

Jo, sorry but I was comparing to the one in the ad at chicagofountain with no cabin and close to 100mph, what would make that one that fast?

getchasum111 05-29-2007 04:31 PM

very nice

Jerry ( LEOPAJM ) will probably answer that himself but I believe he has had a taste for some eggbeaters latlley & I also believe he has a bit of troulble finding good gas in his area to feed his 1075 Mercs

MikeFormula 05-29-2007 05:16 PM

Thank you all so much for the comments It really means allot. I too think that the boat turned out awesome. I was a little scared about the graphics and the carbon vinyl on the seats, but I think it turned out great. I too also love the bolster bottoms done in the aluminum rather than the normal powder coated ones. It gives it a nice accent.

Thanks again to Pantera for doing such a great job on the boat. It really did turn out well. They put in some crazy hours to get this thing done for me to be able to get home and enjoy it for memorial day weekend. My hats off to them!!!! Now you all go and get some rest so I can come back down in a few weeks so we can run this thing in some real water with JO!!!!

JO or I will post some speed results as soon as we get the boat dialed in and I get some seat time.

Thanks again for all the nice comments!!!!

and as far as the egg beater thing? Definitely not my bag!!!!

NJgr8ful 05-29-2007 08:59 PM

Very nice Mike congrats ... classic, classy, tastefully done. Good luck with her ENJOY!

Congrats JO on great looking boat and rigging looks perfect ... good job.
