this morning I heard about a kind of tornado that hit the marina in treadwell bay... 8 foot waves, a 40 footer sailboat that was airborned from the parking lot down to the water in the marina... any truth in this?

Question

Jeff.........Treadwell got hit pretty bad with what they think was a micro burst of very high winds through a narrow band across the Beekmantown area. Alot of damage to property and many boats......I guess close to 1 mil. but as far as 8 ft waves and flying 40 fters????

A little white at first but he got use to it I was told.

Those straight bottom 42's sure can fly well in good hands and weather!!!
Your damn straight I enjoyed it!. Nothin' to get used to, it's all good clean fun. I especially enjoyed the bath you gave the authorities when the port motor lit up 2" from the side of their boat. I bet their ears are still ringing... The flying tiger routine was icing on the cake.

Thanks again GL. It was a blast and we were in good hands for sure. I just wish we had been headed for Port Henry...

Few shots with the NY Gang and Denis from Treadwell on a beautiful Monday afternoon. Matt also showed up later and joined in. Also met up with Todd Sunday p.m. There's talked from the group of wanting to end the season with a nice group cruise to a few local spots this coming weekend or the next. This weekend weathers looking great

Won't be able to bust out before 4 today. A few of us will be heading over to Breakwaters after work though. This weekend looks real good. The boys want to do some kind of group cruise this weekend, maybe down to the Old Dock in Essex, Indian Bay or The Lighthouse in Rouses Point. Maybe meet at the Turtle Sat. a.m. and decide. I'll start a thread....pass it around on your side. I saw Todd Sun.....I know he's game. Matt threw out some ideas at his place too!

We'll be out, but probably wont do the run. We'll have Maddie with us, but we'd like to hook up with the crew somewhere.
