DD, thanks. I have not noticed any differences when launching or retrieving. My stuff all seems to be about that same in that regard, get the rear tires in up to about the top of the sidewall (just before the bottom of the wheel) and I'm good to go. The goose-neck is way better in tight areas and obviously better in general while towing, it makes a huge difference having the weigh over the rear axle instead of hanging off the rear bumper... a night and day difference!

Yeppers I would be calling Ron @ Manning Marine all day long. Nice trailers and still pretty reasonable.
