drive them both and look them over. That will give you your answer. Asking that question on here is going to get you all kinds of different answers

I have owned 5 Fountains, Baja although a good boat, is no comparsion to a Fountain! Not EEVVEEENN in the same league

Where is the boat at in TX. I may be able to look at it for you, or maybe someone else here can.

Gibbs was the only surveyor at the Dallas boat show. I don't know of anybody that has used him. There was a thread a month or two ago on a guy looking for a TX surveyor - do a search and it will come up. Still be carefull, from what I hear a lot of these surveyors don't know anything about performance boats and they can and do still make huge mistakes with little or no recourse. If you use him ask for referrals and experience - check him out thoroughly. Good luck

I agree with Rare Breed that bajas are not in the same league as a fountain. If you like the look of the baja vs the fountain, then I would get a formula. If you plan to finance most of the boat formula has the best deals on the market. Something like 0% for 2years and 4.25% after that. I can't remember exactly.

How fast would a Cafe Racer be with 525's? Not a 100 MPH boat. Does that make Fountain a better boat than a Cigarette?

(Just thought I'd stir up a little sh!t! )

if you are talking about a 525 fountain that runs 100, id much rather have the fountain over the cafe!

call me crazy, but i dont think there is a baja that runs better than a fountain in any water!
