on week days and the 27+ MM on the off weekends a 28 single is plenty of boat. If you want to run to the dam on the 4th or labor day you can do it in a 28 but if you want to feel comfortable a 32+ with twins will make the ride feel better.

It's still rough, even in the gun but you never feel uneasy. My wife is a big chicken she was almost in tears once in the pantera but has no problem at all in the gun.

thanks for all the input everyone...i am still undecided though...all i do know is the 30 foot spectre is going to have to be turned into some sort of deep v...i want a little bit newer boat than the 311 but thanks for letting me know...

I had a baja 320es and it wasn't big enough on the holiday weekends. I wouldn't consider anything smaller to run LOTO on a regular basis.
