that was the first boat i looked at when i got into offshore stuff.. i saw a pic of it and then found a nordic thor 27.. then realized i needed one less hull and it needed to be longer.. good luck! its a cool ride

This is a brand new hull we are just getting tooled up its a new look to our current 27 but with a few new changes. We are getting ready to start shooting the first 26' v this next month. Anyone looking for a sweet 28 v let me know.

That's a nice looking boat. Kinda reminds me of the Conquest Boss cat.

It is an awesome looking boat and the hull looks very up to date. BUT I don't think they make a very good boat.........I used to think they did, but this recent ad makes me think otherwise

I know its an insurance recovery boat, but still.........2005 with stress cracks already...........I guess its just meant for the lake. If it can't stay together better than that then its just a bunch of fancy fiberglass.

Actually I work with Ultra an can tell you that the chips/ cracks are not from the builder they are from when the boat was stollen. The dirt bags that stole the boat did some minor damage to the boat.

those boats are actually OVER built if anything...I'm talking brick ****house...That 27' Shadow is pushing about 5500LBS. Solid as a BLOCK WALL... :drink:

Bad Ass Industrial 06-27-2007 12:14 PM

at present the current hull depending on motor is about 4900lbs with out trailer weight I can pull it with out getting a big ass truck is the nice part.

TexomaPowerboater 06-27-2007 12:30 PM

OK my bad. I don't really know anything about ultra or any other cats for that matter. I just go by what I see and that looks like a stress crack to me. I did talk to somebody with ultra because I was interested in buying one until I asked him how the boat did in 4-6ft lake chop. He said......"lets be honest - in 4-6ft waves all you are trying to do is get back home." :D Translation - Lake boat:evilb:
