so thats why they call it the "pokie" on the serious side are you even allowed to put up your own channel markers? here in the keys they are pvc pipes stuck in the bottom, they only last a little while then the marine patrol removes them(this is in the backcountry/flats )then someone puts them back,and on and on......

No... only the appropriate regulating authority can post legal navigational aid / notices...... USCG / DOT/ DNR / whatever is in your boating region.....

i.e..... the guy who anchors a "No Wake" bouy in front of his property on a river or lake and thinks it's now a no wake zone in front of his property.....nope....don't work like that.

you could probably make your own,most of those signs are made of mdo "medium density overlay" plywood ,
