I am trying Nu-finish as recommended in Powerboat last year. I have tried all the other waxes and nothing will stay on the parts that really get alot of water on them like the sides. I used to use Meguires but it only beaded for 2 days and it was gone.

I just bought another gallon of this Leverage. It does what it says and then some. Donnie is great to work with...I use the Frenzy vynil and Shark Tower for other areas on the boats and vehicles at this time. Jeff

Yes, I have UV Protection in my polish. That was one of my first issues I addressed in conception. I've got a lot of info in my Boat Wax thread in the fiberglass section. Donnie |

what would be best for restoring a dull finish on a boat that had seen a lot of sun?

Hi Roby,
I imagine you don't want to just cover up the problem, but you want to fix the problem. If the boat is faded and has quite a bit of oxidation then I would begin with wet sanding. We have many threads going on this subject and everyone is thrilled with their results. You will find that wet sanding is very easy to do compared to buffing then rebuffing and just covering up the oxidation. I own Marine Clean as well, so I do speak from detailing experience. I also manufacture and sell alot of the products you will need to take on a buffing/wetsanding job. Let me know if you need anything. Thanks, Donnie You might also want to check this thread out. http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...d.php?t=140741 |
3m ultra performance wax and 3m vinyl cleaner/treatment
Shark tower for polishing metal. |
Hey GO4BROKE,
Have you tried my Oxidation Remover, Metal Serum or Polish? Thanks, Donnie |
I had my boat professionally buffed out and waxed white it was out of the water last season. It's time to wax again. What do you recommend for a boat that is already in good condition?
|
If your boats already in good condition then all you need is my Leverage Polish to maintain the finish.
