It looks like where they landed there isnt more than a few inches of water. If there where a decent amount of water to land in Im sure you would see people going over regularly.

CNN had this linked on their main page a couple days ago... when I saw it I couldn't help but wonder what they were thinking right about the first frame?

points for style, but the landing sucked.

They would have been alright if they had landed in deeper water. Looks like they landed in 6 inches and sucked tight to the bottom and that will stop you dead in your tracks on a jetski.

I have to disagree with the views here I think they did it on purpose but didn't realize that the water was only 6" deep. Actually if the water had been deeper they might have landed it and kept going

I would pay to do that!! except with a little more water for a landing. that totally looked like fun until they cased it... reminds me of a couple incidents on my dirt bike haha. They should play that video in the X games, pretty sweet......
