He had not dropped the flag... I was beside the Pace Boat, literally, about 30 feet from him, all the way till about squaw island. I said enough is enough and got on the sticks and blew by the pack just south of sqauw island. I looked to my right and saw Roy coming on the inside, I headed to the south side of Frye island and kept pulling away from him all the way to Long Beach. I slowed down to about 90 for a few minutes, let Roy go by and reeled him in again. We then had to slow down and take a hard right to avoid a boat coming out of the Songo, we both got on it again and I pulled away for a third time all the way to the finish area. The Talon ran hard and clearly dominated the day.
