I'm familiar with the term. I'm just bustin' chops. I grew up in NJ, but doubt I would ever move back.

It's the same in any tourist area. The locals complain about the tourists even though the tourists are making a contribution to the local economy. Hotels, food, drink, entertainment, etc.

Here is another term for benny's, we call them shoebee's, cause they wear shoes and socks on the beach or WEB's - Week End Bast**ds!! Just some other terms from a little further south on the Jersey Shore!!! Not down the shore like the news always says!!

never heard Bricktuckey.

Up by me ya got the Burgers (Keansburg). And once one of them get a real job with with dental, and get some teeth in their mouth, they move and become a Beacher (Union Beach).
