Big Rick will bring the 46 down early on friday, and Chi-Town and I will be bring our boats down today. I'm running the Preacher this year.

Dennis, LMAO Scott told me that Fountain is'nt the "cat" killer, it's the "CASH" killer. And It's got a fresh pr of Briggs & Strattons in it for the event. (pump gas pleasure engines)

Just spoke with the photographer from Hot Boat magazine. He told me that Hot Boat is excited about the coverage we're giving them to use for their mag. I will be meeting with the photographer early on friday morning, and he informed me that he will need to do interviews with as many of the participants as possible. They're looking for exotic boats and crews that they can use for articles in their mag over the next several issues.
Please be curtious with them as they will want detailed info on some of our hardware, and be taking several pics of the boats in and out of the water. They will be in one of the many Jet ranger helo's taking pics during the run. So, everybody, put on your "happy face"

We would also like to congrat Marilyn DeMartini, director of marketing for OuterLimits, on full coverage of our event again this year. She is bringing a very strong following of big powered OL's with her. I know off the top of my head we have over a half a dozen of them registered as we speak. As many of you know, Marilyn did an EXCELLENT job for us last year, and she's a pleasure to talk to.

As I type, I was just informed that we have already surpassed last years numbers in entries, and the cut off is at 85. So, if any of you are thinking about possibly just showing up on saturday without pre registering first, you'd better call to register now, because I believe that by the weekend, we will have to close registration.

The Resorts Casino and Majestic Star hotel are all booked out. But, there are rooms available about a 10 mniute drive from the Marina. Sometimes it just don't pay to hesitate.

Well, looking forward to seeing all of you on friday. Have a safe trip.

So, if the Cat Killer does show up they are more than welcome to lead the pack. We will be cruising with the guys.

I'll be there today. Running easy sounds good to me. It will be flat water. Might as well save the motors for big water down the road.

The only thing to be sure of with Lake Michigan is that the forecast will change at least 3 more times between now and Saturday.
