Joe headed to South Florida with the Apache today, where it belongs. After having it on our lake in Oklahoma all of its life, it is going to some real water. Other than Grand, it has been to LOTO once, and tested on Lake X twice.

I know exactly how Steve felt yesterday whe the OSO Gladiator left. It really does feel like losing a friend and family member all rolled into one:traurig001: :traurig001: :traurig001:

From going out in the middle of December to let my best friends ashes fly in the lake that he loved, to all of the great days and nights spent on the water. "Old Faithful" is now gone. About the only time we drove it in the last three years is when the rest of the E-Dock crew had mechanical failures. At least a young family will get use and as much enjoyment out of it as I have.

Joe and I have both jumped through hoops in the last 7 days to make this happen, and now it is official.

Like I said last night Joe, take care of her and she will take care of you.

After I quit slamming my head in the door for even thinking about selling it, I'll figure that out later. Probably a 460 Sea Ray for now. I get plenty of the speed thing riding with everyone else.

Warparty was one of my favorites as well. Glad the boat is going to the big water if it couldn't stay at GLOC.

Congrats to Bubba and Joe.

Just got off the phone with Joe a few minutes ago. He was going through Little Rock. Has a long drive ahead of him. All was going well though. I could see him grinning through the phone. :D

I totally agree. She was hopping, but on our pond, it would take an act of Congress to get that thing out of the water.:cool-smiley-011:
