Default Round Motor Hatch switch??

I have a 1991 31 Scarab Excel, it has a round motor hatch switch that has failed, I have never seen a round switch like this--- I will try to get a pic asap. Its a 6 prong, 3 position momentary switch, does anyone know where I can get a replacement? I have looked at Eddie Marine, Trick Marine, Dana Marine and Hardin Marine with no luck.

I don't know about a round one but you can get a toggle switch to replace it, they all have six prongs

ya, I thought about that but I would have to remove all of the other switches and then cut a square hole in the aluminum panel.. Just hoping to find a replacement for an easy fix.

A toggle switch only needs about a 1/2 inch diameter round hole for mounting it.

Check the brand of the switch. It should be imprintied on the side of the switch itself. I found some new switches for my Scarab but hunting down the mfg'r(McGill). Used McGill's website to identify the exact switches and then found them on e-bay for 8 bucks. God luck.
