3 MPG is fantastic. Nice post. Mass does make a difference. Apples to Apples. If you look at the length x width factors, it is a lot of displacement. Talk to you soon.

Hey Fever I sent you an archive shot of a 38ZX transom. I do not see a notch as indicated in one of your previous post. I do not think Donzi uses a notch on there transoms. They do ride well. Which ones have you rode/Drove? Talk to you soon.

The 38 ZX does not have a notched transom, A 38 Cig does but not a Donzi, And the one thing everyone seems to forget the Donzi Line 33ZX and the 38ZX were a cross breed boat, Designed for a person who wants speed but loves the full cabin effect. Tall cabins wide beam great in rough water, full bathroom and all the goodies you would find at home. Fountains were built more for speed, Low cabins narrow hull and lighter set ups. They are all great boats it all depends on your wants and needs. The new 38 Race and Poker run boat is going to be a different animal putting Donzi with Cigarette,Fountain,Formula and Others in the Offshore boat catagory. They also have future plans of building Cats. 36ft and better. Just like Baja joined forces with Skater to build a race boat I can't wait to see what she looks like and I wish them the best! I only wish Scarab would come back in to the lamp light. They have been so quite lately.

This IS a neat thread, many speak when fact are teetering on the unknown or what "I had heard!"
26ZX, twin step, no notch. PQ's have notches, not Donzi.
Donzi, great all around boat.

I respect and like Fountains Mr Fever, but it is odd that there are HUNDREDS of them for sale, any year, any color, any power, etc....
Is everyone upgrading?

The beek part was just a rib, I really do like the look, and I will tell ya many a Fountain has smoked me in my Donzi's....

As said before, I love my tank! See anyone anywhere in a similar size boat in ANY SIZE WATER!
