Actually, the speed run was on monday, at our local lake, lake millerton. At the poker run, at 21% throttle, we ran 102mph for a majority of the time.

Hella of a good question, I would estimate 150 hours before the head gaskets will let go. But that really depends on the duty cycle of the engine.

Is that an air intake I see on the flat portion of the deck right next to the canopy ?

The boat looks mean in black, but has to to be hotter than hell when trying to walk on without shoes....

The raceboat that was at the NYC PR had huge air vents going to each engine.
