Default Aries VS JE pistons

I have never had a piston totally fail like this in 27 yrs.Anyone else having problems with JE pistons. This was the reason I missed emerald coast, what a *****.The rest were perfect and only about 10 hrs run time. After comparing the two JE is no comparison to the aries pistons i allways ran.

Most of the piston was in the bottom of the oil pan. The head looks good, the engine was still running just was smoking out the exhaust. How you making out with the new psi blowers?Good to hear from you! Sh@t happens trying to make LOTO.

saw one that an engine builder took to much off the botom of the wrist pin boss on the piston to balance it, and it did not last long, hope this was not the issue for you.

Did it look like the piston seized or "black death"?
