Default What will bring back the shine on a landau top

My buddy has 83 Caddy Eldo with a Landau top that is still in good condition. He wants to know what he can use on it to preserve the the shine on the top. He has tried Armour All but that does not last. He wants it to be shiny and last for a little longer than 1 week.

Thanks
Patrick

Petroluem Distalites(sp) is what gives the fade effect.oddly enough a whole bunch of "soft material" care products have it in it.Perfect example is Armor-All...worst stuff ever for vinyl/leather/rubber trim etc etc.

If you want it to last a good bit then find some silicon dressing..it will be crystal clear.Thick as all heck to.Put it on a small cloth and rub it in.That should last a good while.make sure you rub it in REAL good..massage it a lot.if not when it rains it will streak down the side of the car.Not that it is a problem but you have to wash the streak off.
