Strip
The transom is extra thick/double cored composite....no wood.

The lift arrangement works like a breeze: back her in, hook up the transom slings and tighten them a bit (keeps the boat lined-up) then hook up the fronts and lift.

The snaps haven't been as issue...even for me

What do ya think it weighs wet?

I wonder if you could find some kind of quick connect type fastener for the lifting eyes, make it even easier?

Due, thanks for the info. As a gear head myself, it's always great to see a project, especially one as complicated as yours, come to fruition. The photo of your boat on step shows she really airs out and runs dry. Well done. As for the color, I'd keep her all white also. Something about an all white boat that just looks soooo clean.
Congrats.

Darrell.

You know: it's always something. Last week it was oil & filters, this week I'm changing spark plugs.
Next on the list is changing the rocker arms. Although the existing rockers have less than 45 hours (with no probelms) I'm upgrading to the wider/trunion Cranes. Know anyone looking for 2 sets of used gold Crane rockers in great condition?
John
