I think I've got it figured out. After closely examining the pic, 69 mph is a hell of run for this Fountain

I've been on the Lucky 7 Baja 35' that has the 700 SCI and NTX package. That boat was not the easiest thing to get on plane.

I would take you up on that 35 fountain against my much smaller 34 Phantom. sjould be a even match right

I heard the pontoon boat was capable of speeds of over 100mph but the umbrella kept flying out of his drink..

No problem here. I just don't think someone who doesn't have a boat, shouldn't be poking fun at someone that does, no matter how many boats he may have owned in the past. That's like saying, my dad can beat up your dad.

down to the lake with us you could have heard Brad's boat first hand!!!!!hahahaha. The Fountain in question looked like BZ's getting on plane so I think that is what the issue appeared to be Hippiekid!!!! I am confident that he had plenty of "Go-Stick" just not a long enough runway. Hammer

Just think that poontoon can prob out run about 50% on the boats on this board, encluding mine when it was stock but I wouldnt want to turn in it at any speed very sharp

If ya talk to some of the guys that have run it,some get a better running start at the light.Like one buddy said they flaged him down coming in to hot at the start and he was off plane hitting the green light,he learned real quick

I'm thinking you missed the point, there, cowboy. A 34 Phantom probably has a longer running surface than a 35 Fountain, I was using the 25 foot example as an exageration...in literary terminalogy we would refer to it as a "hyperbole." Look it up.
But, if we're running even power, name the place. I ain't scared, especially if there's some waves involved.

Hell, I thought the reason BZ's boat wouldn't get on plane was because of the two fat guys (him and Perillo) in the bolsters!

Kidding Bob, kidding!!!

Glad to see you made it back from the weekend alive, Trent! Next year for sure!
