Default Could not launch boat! Shallow water and Rocks!

Long story short: I went at a usually nice boat launch ramp today, in Varenne, on the Fleuve St-laurent or St-Laurent river. This is where the cargo goes down to the great lakes. Started to back off and felt it would not go in water any further. Boat would not float either. So I tried 2 other times just beside, never worked. I was told to go somewhere else close (Contrecoeur) same story. So I headed to the richelieu river after 3 hours drive, ( an it usually is only 15 minutes from home) finally got it wet!

The Sorel marina where is usually held the poker run was closed. No one could either get in, or out of the marina...

But my trailer suffered a little bit from the first launch ramp! see pictures...

Jeff, where has all the water gone ????
The 1000 Islands has dropped almost a foot since the Poker Run, it's at late October, early November levels right now.

The big daddy of them all, Lake Superior, is at the lowest level since they have been recording them. It's water temperature, known for being frigid and never giving up its dead, is at all time highs. Not a good situation on any of the Great Lakes.

Lake Ontario is at the lowest level I have seen. I have about 20-22 feet more shoreline than I do in the spring. The first 20+' of my dock is on dry land. I may have to stop using my boat for the season soon ( launching and retrieving is getting harder) due to water levels, not weather.
