Testing on Friday produced a new top speed of 79 MPH!:ernaehrung004: JC is pretty sure it'll run 80+ mph, they are ordering another set of props with more pitch.

Well,
This Saturday, 10/6/07 will be the "Official" Sea-trial of the Mystic SL700. We'll be heading out of the Sanford Marina ~ 7:30am and driving all the way up the St. Johns river to Jacksonville, out into the Atlantic and back down to Ponce inlet, and finish in Daytona, with ending up in the Halifax Marina. Should be a great trip, I can't wait!

Sounds like a good little trip, good luck and I hope everything goes well, oh yea, get some pics of the inside and motors. The last time I saw it the motors were on stands (they are massive), and the interior wasn't in it.

Will do, and you are right the motors are HUGE!, ~ the size of VW Bug! Hope the weather is nice. How do you like the Mystic 32? I put in a few hours building and rigging that boat!:D

We had some motor troubles after I got it back together (spun a bearing in the starboard motor), so testing has been limited. I pulled it back apart to freshen up the other motor and finish some rigging that I put off this summer. Like everything else it will never be completly done. Lets see some pics of the 70!

Went one the maiden voyage of "Carpe Diem" the 1st Mystic SL700 yesterday, and all I can say is "Freaking Awesome" !!!!:ernaehrung004: We ran a total of 265 miles. I took my oldest daughter with me and she had a great time too. I post pics later.
