Stop the Insanity
What is happening to our forum? Is everyone so bored that they have to start "Flame Wars"?
This forum is for boaters (of all kinds) to get together and discuss stuff. Period.
If someone starts a thread that offends you, then IGNORE IT! The opposite of LOVE is not hate. The opposite of LOVE is INDIFFERENCE! Pretending as if the thread was never created is far worse that responding to it. If you respond to someone's "Flame War" thread, then you are part of the problem.
There are people on the internet called TROLLERS. They throw out the "hook", and wait for you the "take the bait". Everytime you "take the bait" and respond to a post that you feel is offensive, you are only pleasing the troller. There you are yelling and complaining at the troller, but all the troller sees is another fish that bit the hook and is helpless to release their anger.
So, the next time you see someone post something really stupid, STOP and ask yourself.... "Do I really want to reply to this and bring it to the top? Or, should I ignore it and let it fall to the bottom?" Just let it go. Your anger only pleases the troller.

It's just like anything else in this world nobody is holding a gun to your head to log onto OSO to read the board. I think if jeff had an issue with this he would address it
I think everybody has the right as a citizen of the U.S.A. to post whenever and whatever! and if they step over the line they will have to deal with the consequences.

this is just a dissapointment to this rubish on this board 
I thought this board was about 5 things.. Boats.... Women..Women...women.....sheep
