Fastest 40' plus boats....(with a cabin)
 

I have a little money on a bet, help me out. I would like to know what product or person,has the fastest 40' plus boat.. I know alot of the race boats, so, the bet is on a boat with a cabin.

V or cat?

I'm not sure, but in a vee it's probably going to be a Hustler, Outerlimits, or a Fountain.

I would guess Skater.

On a V I would say a 42 Outerlimits with 1075's. Has a full cabin with walk in head. Add a generator and you can overnight on it no problem.

Piston or Turbine?
What's defines a cabin? "Cover-girl" with two opposing couches and a porta-potti; or Full Cabin with V-berth, opposing couches, microwave, pump out enclosed head, refrigerator, Heat/AC?

Full Cabin, A/C Gen full kitchen, Bath, Queen Birth, Couches, 2 flat screens, 132mph

42 Fountain with 1075's will run in the low 130's

I would guess an Outerlimits or a Fountain. (42')

But a 42' Fountain is only...

Not sure if actual cabin size counts here but.....I got a chance to peek in that 55' before it left the MTI factory and there is no comparision between its cabin and the 43' Nortech. Could have a party below in that 55'. Got a great ride in a Nortech this summer as well, beautiful boat and nice cabin, but only got into it after twisting, turning and halfway falling down into it to see it.....

For vee's the Outerlimits 47 GTX's have half cabin and are some what usable. For cats with big cabins the 55 MTI wins and for smaller cabins im sure Nor-Tech has that covered.

Here is the cabin in my 20 yr old 50 scarab, totally re-did, boat has triple 1000, runs 92, weights 23k, but you cant beat the size or comfort of this cabin. - Woods has told me million times (because that how much i have in it:hitfan: how stupid i am, but hope fully yall will appreciate

44 mti with 1200 merc, deep into the 160's, 170's with the right setup.

Sunsation F-4. 43'4", full cabin including stand-up head with vaccuflush toilet, Eplex system management, fridge, microwave, flat screen, dvd, ac/heat, etc. 105MPH with 700's.
