Is that the bumper boats championship?
That is crazy, I don't think I have ever seen anything like it.
Call it extreme, crazy, Nutz, out of control, you name it.
I'm just surprised someone did not get killed.
WOW

This is exactly why you need the wings like on the Batboat Reindl hulls on boats this small in those condtions. Its amazing that more of them don't get killed!!
Crazy, like playing russian roulette with three bullets in the gun!

The boats are made by Cougar. 26' stepped-hull, 70MPH w/ Honda 225 hp engines. Nice one-design series that runs in England. It would get alot more people into the sport but next to a 44' cat, they would look kind of silly.
We had something sort of like this some years back- it was called the Skater 24. Cheap to race, went 100MPH. You could bring this back here easily but I think the poker run concept has killed all chances. Who wants all those pesky rules & organization anyway?
Looks like alot of fun but maybe needs a better set of rules- or at least a canopy.
