I think Scott and his gang test all of there used boats before the go for sale. Scott would not make a statement that he could not back up. Reputation means everything to Shogren marine. They are First class.

No doubt they're highly reputable people. That's what makes the speed quote even that much more surprising. There's no secret to what it takes to get an Apache 41 to 90mph and that's not the combination.

A light-layup race hull with that power and drives will go 90. or so Shogren's is a full cabin s/s pleasure boat.

We have a 41 Apache will full cabin,850 SC's with 3A's.

Boat was advertised to do 90MPH and was told the numbers were once seen (liquid speedo). We have seen 83MPH on GPS and we know she can do more, but 90MPH??? Hmmmm, maybe 86, 87, but 90? We're not convinced of that yet, but it's not what's important. The ride kicks a$$ so we're not too worried about 3MPH.

If your boat's running 83 on 850's with an average load, that's like winning the lottery. I'm going to guess that your motors are putting out a tad more than 850. You're right though, you can go 83 any time you want, regardless of how rough it gets

Could be Chris. We were told they were 800's thay dynoed out at 850, but we certainly can hit 85, 86 on any given day. We're still breaking the boat in, only owned her a month and Rob's not ready to stick the throttles on the dash for any long length of time. GPS is still climbing when we back out of the throttle doing 83.

We're thrilled that the boat runs like she does. She is so dialed in. The ride is the best we've ever experienced.

That's awesome for a side-by-side, full-cabin boat. I'd sleep with those props under my pillow if I were you. Mine had about 825 per on 3's and I never could get it over 80. When I had the 750NA's in it, I couldn't get past 76 on the GPS. If I could reach 90 with the 1000's on sixes, I'd be thrilled.
