Poker Runners - please call me to get booked. My tee order is going in at the end of the week and hotel rooms are going quick (but I still have rooms)

What is the date and approx time of the poker run's arrival in KW so us non boaters can be waiting at the docks with our drinks?

Also will they be selling any of the extra tee's again at the races?

OK...Iam gonna put this out there. The OSO girls usually plan a OSO get together and it's always been a blast and bigger every year. Girls...what ya think? you know who you are:p

I `ll being returning to Key West for the first time since my accident with Tom Gentry in 1994. And actually it will be my first Poker Run, believe it or not. I will be running in one of Omar Danials boats ( Omar is like my son we won the world Championships together three times 2X in Apache Heritage and 1X in 43` Scarab Gentry Turbo 1992 and 1993 ) Anyway, we will have the new yellow 35` Motion with new Merc. 850 pkg`s and number 6 drives. We also bought a used 42` Outerlimits GTX less power, currently installing new Merc 1075`s, new drives etc, and will be ready for the run. We will be staying at the Ocean Key House. Leaving Friday returning Sun. or Monday. I am the Gen Mgr. at Motion Marine, and will bring info. re: our new 39` GT and new 43` SLX models, sorry won`t be ready for this season, we hope to debut the new 39` in the Miami Boat show. I hope to have an opportunity to meet everyone, and tell some of my racing stories which have spanned the world over the past 30 years of racing, achieving over 60 career victories, four consecutive U.I.M. world titles, three US world titles, One USA 1 superboat title ( Popeyes ) and two Kilo records. I have a timeshare at the Galleon(my father used to race), so I will be down there from Friday-Wednesday(9th-14th). It will be my first trip down there since '88.

Haha! We usually rent our 2 weeks out. Last year pops went down and got into it again. The whole fam is going down this year. I doubt he will ever sell it...He says he will be open class champ when he wins the lottery!

Hi Dawn , Lucididee We will be staying at the Eaton Lodge which is about the cross street of the Holiday inn. getting in on the 5th to the 12th. have to get together while we are there! Scott and Mary as well as Ken and Sheila will be staying with us.

The closer to Duval the better, but most rooms are gone, only thing available is at the entrance to the island, and over by the airport.

That's why I stay at the Casa Marina It's away from the noise at night. A simple $5 cab ride gets me back to my bed :ernaehrung004:

You are going to have to call every hotel on your own. I heard there are less hotels this year then years past? THey closed a holiday inn or something and another hotel also??

We're going. Not taking our boat, but should be on Baja's Lucky 7's a few days. Dallas & I would love to boat ho with someone. We bring crisp $100's for fuel.

Don't stay at the El Rancho! It might be the only place to stay, but it sure is a sh!thole!
