I Just heard last year's second place is coming back.:violent-smiley-045: It is a 36 skater "TOM CAT" . He ran 140 last year with a badly hurt motor. He was blowing so much oil out on his last pass last year he made the outboard guys look clean:D:D:D

dreamboater 10-11-2007 08:38 AM

Tom Cat looked like it was on rails. I overheard the owners say the boat was for sale for $250,000. That 32 Skater ran great too, in fact all of the Skaters ran great. 112 for that fountain was fast. I heard it had stock 700s.
It was a fun day and great weather. Looking forward to next year.

dreamboater 10-15-2007 10:41 AM

The 38 has stock Merc 700's and 6 blade 39 pitch herrings. It is all stock, his gps showed 113.8. Fountain's performance report was 114.3. Most of the Skaters ran well, not me however...

seltzer 10-15-2007 08:31 PM

No Mark I anchored the boat at the finish line so Sharon (Randys wife) could take pics. We had a great time. I did however manage to run my mouth.

No surprise there! :ernaehrung004:

We MAY run up to Alexandria this Saturday; putting in at Aquia.

Sydwayz 10-16-2007 09:21 PM

That heavy ass tug won't get up and go on one motor?

(ATs do! :D)

[QUOTE=Sydwayz;2307491]Wayne, did you send another Cleaver down the River? :D

No :D, just not setup quite right. A little windy in the morning really messed me up. Made a 2nd pass trimmed all the way in to keep the boat in the water and overheated the motor. I was setup a little too high. It was still a good time though.

James 10-17-2007 06:49 AM

Went 150mph last weekend - going to try to go 50 this weekend - hot new 4 & 5 blade props coming in for the Yammy 300 on the CC - Saturday should be exciting, prop testing will begin 06:15 - and should be done by 06:17 - I know you guys like to get up early so keep the wake down @ neabsco creek -

seltzer 10-17-2007 08:32 AM

Neabsco creek. Isnt that where the million dollar homes run on generators?

James 10-17-2007 11:19 AM

Your information is not accurate - the generator threw a rod - now the million dollar homes have no power - but the location is correct - May have made more sense to buy a million dollar generator and live in a trailer - Mine is the teal color one with the bowsprit woman above the windows - had to put her up high so you guys don't touch her titties -
