Man it was a great day for a run.
(I didn't know there was a poker run until just now) Rolling semi-close swells (seemed like NNW?), probably 3'ers all morning and into windblown 3's into the afternoon. Full-moon high tide as well. The run north from Newport to Long Beach was just perfect Pacific Ocean offshore conditions (sometimes difficult keeping the props wet however). Spectacular boats, brilliant day. |

I ran on Lucky's old boat and we were 6th to the first card stop and 1st yes first to the second stop, Old man steve kept those throttles humming

Here are a few pics of the crew......:D My wife Shannon is a school teacher (so we named the boat Hot for Teacher) so I thought it was only appropriate that they dressed up as school girls..... Tom |
