Don't know about that but the 39 Squadron certainly wouldn't be Don's winningest design- so few were made and even fewer were race boats. My guess would be the 35.

Yes it is. Built by the best....Mark McManus. And no matter how many AssClowns try to discredit him with their crybaby nonsense, his credentials are unimpeachable.
Mark McManus......Master Boatbuilder I believe "Spirit of Apache" is for sale in the Dupont Registry No discredit to him for what he's done... He managed operations then later built the boats and they were great....he carried the torch after the founding fathers built it.... Here's how I see it.. 1. Don Aronow - Hull Designer 2. Ben Kramer - CEO(Venture Capitalist) 3. Bob Saccenti - Original President/Founder 4. Mark McManus - Head of Operations later turned President(government seizure while Benny's trial was going on, then some years later owner) Benny and Bob were traveling all over the world making name the for Apache and put them on the map by kicking azz! Mark first worked part-time for Benny/Bob then later worked full time when Benny made the offer because Bob left to go out on his own and build the less than 40 ft boats and Benny/Bob were still racing together. Mark worked for Don and was part of the Halter/Cigarette aquisition... This is my understanding...with some details left out to shorten the story. Feel free to fill in the blans if you please.. BOTTOM LINE, THEY ARE ALL TALENTED INDIVIDUALS! :ernaehrung004: Which brings me to my next point.....this is all the more reason Apache's are still worth a lot to some people nowadays......BTW, isn't that why this thread was started....back on topic.. |
Didn't McManus build the Tsunami Apache which was a new boat not to long ago, as well the spirt of Apache boat was basically a boat build?? Correct me if im wrong.
