What Do People Think About a "Budget/DIY" Forum?

I might be wrong, but I think what the original poster was getting at was a general forum, not just tech questions, but "where to get the best deals", "how i got into the sport cheap (stories)", "how to get more speed out of an older V-bottom". I think if you called it do it yourself, that would limit the forum. Maybe call the forum "Offshore on a Budget", or maybe i'm retarded and you will disregard my post.

Reading a bunch of posts for a lot of reasons, it seems there is a gap between boaters. Some of the not so deep pocket guys are a bit timid posting or actively participating here. Due to $ or due to boat type and value. (and for those >>> DON'T BE.. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE FOR EVERYONE) THen there are the regs, and the unlimited spenders. Talking about Rolex deals.
There may be two forums. A newbie for getting them aclamated and a forum for a combination of DIY, Speed and HP for a budget. (which is what I need ) and great home made tinckering ideas. Remove a forum that's not used. enough. Just a thought.
