Full service truck stops (TA) are another good source for this type of stuff.

The home depo J hook style have a hook end that I have seen straighten out, also if it gets loose it can un hook itself, the MR or S lines tie downs have the hook locking tap on it ,you can also get it with the twisted ends to make it fit the boat better , color choices, and there 10,000pds, this is also the same as i use on all my races cars

IMOPI would buy the style like I have , see if Bubba can get them first or just order direct from MR like I did ,ordered it with twisted hooks ,blue and cut to length.wish the make them in stainless
