That's a beautiful boat and would be a blast to own. However, present insurance prices on that piece of machinery is almost cost prohibitive for most folks. I could insure a Cessna Turbo 206 on amphibious floats for less $$$ (and it's faster and a lot more useful)

It's not easy to stomach insurance on a seasonal piece of recreational equipment like a cat when that alone costs you $10/day or more. I'd agree with a previous post- the outboards are a more attractive route with that boat.

How would that boat handle with that set up? I have a friend that has a 33 foot cat with the exact same set up and it is one ill handling mo-fo. thats a lot of weight out back to try and balance on a boat that size. does look like a nice piece for the $$$ though.
