looking for a good point n shoot...i dont print at all..just shoot, upload and down load...my nikon coolpix 5700 just shiit the bed and need a replacement for Key West. Dont need anything as aggressive as the 5700...whats the latest without spending stupid $$.

I have a D50 which is the same megapix just with a few more bells and whisltes (Good recommendation by Hydrocruiser) I think it may be a good fit for you.

I like Panasonic for a point and shoot...most of them have 6x optical zoom, something not too many others have.

cannon rebel xl 8mg or newer I think is the xlt is 10mg great camera around 750 to 800 now, I BOUGHT MINE WHEN THEY CAME OUT AND PAID 1200 WITH 2LENS. great low light shots on manual mode

If you are going for a digital SLR so you can change out lens I HIGHLY recomend Canon.
